About SOS

A simpler way to communicate and coordinate student support.

Support Our Students was built around a practical family problem: people wanted to help, but no one had one current view of what a student needed.

The Origin

Inspired by one family's college experience.

SOS was developed by an alumnus of Xavier University of Louisiana after his daughter began attending Xavier. Keeping relatives informed about her changing needs meant repeating updates across separate calls and messages. He began building a single place where students could organize those needs and supporters could see where help was still useful.
